Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 After our morning departure from your local pick up point, we travel south to Devon.
Day 2 Our first day's excursion takes us to the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, here you can still find working fishing boats and nets being mended. This afternoon we visit the inspirational Lost Gardens of Heligan. Created over a 200 year period, this intricate collection of gardens was restored and re-opened over twenty years ago and are now one of Britain's finest gardens.
Day 3 Today we travel to the delightful fishing village of Looe which is actually made up of West and East Looe these face each other across the river. Here you can sit and watch the world go by, explore the many gift shops or enjoy a local boat trip. Then on to Polperro where a maze of lanes and alleyways lead down to the traditional fishing village and unspoilt harbour, a true slice of Cornish beauty, where you can visit the art and craft galleries and its very own heritage Museum of Smuggling.
Day 4 Enjoy time at Plymouth Hoe, the Barbican and Sutton harbour, with its quaint cobbled streets and plethora of independent retailers. With embarkation from the Barbican Landing Stage, we include a delightful boat trip with commentary detailing the history and heritage of the stunning Plymouth coastline. Later we visit Plymouth Gin for a tour and tasting.
Day 5 We make our way home after breakfast with suitable stops on route arriving back in Chelmsford early evening.
