Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Morning collection from your pick up point then journey north to Yorkshire with suitable stops on route to our hotel in Scarborough.

Day 2 We head to the town of Whitby, home of Captain Cook. The skyline is dominated by the remains of the ancient abbey known as the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's Dracula. We have time to wander around the narrow streets and busy harbour side before leaving for a scenic ride across the moors to Pickering.

Day 3 Free Day: Britain's first seaside resort, Scarborough, still has so much to offer, with the North and South Bay separated by the mighty castle and with its superb park and gardens. Discover why it is still as popular now as it was in its Victorian heyday. Walk along the elegant esplanade and through the fine gardens to the magnificent Scarborough Spa, home to a varied programme of entertainment. Explore Scarborough's medieval castle high on the rocky headland or the traditional fishing harbour. Take the cliff lift down to the beach, wander along the seafront, visit the town centre and enjoy the wide variety of shops, restaurants and cafes or simply relax. Perhaps treat yourself with a traditional cream tea in the afternoon.

Day 4 It's all about more Yorkshire coastline today as we visit the seaside town of Bridlington and the fishing town of Filey. Filey is un-spoilt, traditional and full of surprises with whitewashed Edwardian houses and quaint cottages. Enjoy what was once a popular retreat for many distinguished visitors including Charlotte Bronte, who stayed at Cliff House, and the Yorkshire-born composer Frederic Delius. In the afternoon we visit Bridlington, a lively fishing port and seaside resort.
Day 5 We leave after a full English breakfast and head south, with suitable stops on-route, before arriving in Chelmsford early evening.
