Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Depart from your local area in the morning travelling to Warrington to arrive late afternoon at the Park Royal Hotel. Four nights stay - dinner, bed & breakfast. With cream tea on arrival to the hotel.

Day 2 This morning we make the journey to Manchester where you are free to explore at leisure. Wander through the Christmas markets, enjoy some retail therapy in the Arndale centre and bustling Market Street, explore the museums and Manchester Cathedral, or simply relax in a coffee shop in the Northern Quarter. After we have finished exploring, we return to the hotel mid afternoon for tea/coffee and mince pies. After dinner tonight, we have live entertainment at the hotel and the optional midnight mass at St Matthews Church opposite the hotel.

Day 3 Christmas Day. Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and Christmas morning in the hotel. We meet at noon for pre-lunch drinks, before our traditional Christmas three course lunch. Watch the Kings speech accompanied by tea, coffee and Christmas cake. Tonight, there will be a lighter buffet-style dinner followed by entertainment in the form of a hotel quiz.

Day 4 Boxing Day. This morning, we make our way to Chester. This city dates back to the Middle Ages with its Roman walls and famous Rows - a medieval shopping complex with all the well-known high-street names to be found on two levels. It is famous for its many half-timbered houses and its 2-mile path around the top of the red sandstone battlements. You will have plenty of time for boxing day sale shopping, sightseeing or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
After we have finished exploring, we return to the hotel mid-afternoon for tea/coffee and mince pies. After dinner tonight we have live entertainment at the hotel including bingo in the bar.

Day 5 We depart Cheshire after breakfast and begin our journey home with a stop on-route arriving back in our local area late afternoon after a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas.
