Eastbourne - The Grape Escape to Sussex

Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Departing from your local pick-up point around 7am, we travel south, stopping at Royal Tunbridge Wells, a spa town in Georgian times popular with both royalty and the aristocracy. After lunch we continue our journey to Eastbourne, arriving mid-afternoon, with time to settle in before our evening meal.

Day 2 Experience: Glynde Place
Perched atop the village of Glynde, Grade I listed Glynde Place commands breath taking views over the Weald and Sussex Downs. Built in 1569 using local flint, chalk, and imported Caen stone, this architectural gem has been home to just three intermarried families over four centuries. On this intimate Private Tour, explore each room unfolding like a meticulously curated family album. Day 4 Experience: Pashley Manor Gardens & Oxney Organic Estate
These gardens are family owned - the culmination of a lifetime of passion for gardening, an appetite for beauty and an admiration of the tradition of the English country garden. A few hours in these immaculately maintained gardens is an ideal way to relax and reconnect with nature. England's largest single-estate organic vineyard is one of seven award-winning vineyards that are part of the newly launched?Rother Wine Triangle. Here, sustainability and craftsmanship go hand in hand. Believing that the future of English wine is organic, Oxney make an increasingly celebrated range of still and sparkling wines.

Day 5 We depart Eastbourne after breakfast for a scenic morning drive along the Sussex coast. We call at Hastings, which has retained much of its character as a fishing port. We have time to obtain lunch (not included), before the return drive to Chelmsford.
