A truly unmissable sight, visitors can admire row upon row of multi-coloured tulips in the themed gardens as well as the sculptures and other works of art, and an historic windmill dating back to 1892.

Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Departing from your local pick up point we head to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. We travel through Belgium into Holland stopping on the way for refreshments. We drive to the outskirts of Rotterdam and our hotel in Papendrecht arriving early evening, time to settle in before our evening meal.
Day 2 Today we visit Keukenhof Gardens at Lisse where you will find the showpiece gardens of the Dutch Bulbs. You can follow the 15km of well-maintained paths as you walk through this charming park and enjoy the millions of flowering bulbs planted in modern designs or set out in the themed gardens. A true atmosphere of spring is also to be found in the covered pavilions and flower shows, with spectacular floral decorations and arrangements.
Day 3 Todays visit is to Zaanse Schans, with its traditional green timbered houses and warehouses which embody the picture-perfect landscapes for which Holland is known. This is a free admission where we can discover local specialities including a cheese farm, wooden shoe workshops, pewter foundry and a bakery museum. (Other attractions may include a separate admission which is down to the individual's discretion and payable direct on the day). Also, there is free time to discover the delightful coastal resort town of Volendam.
Day 4 This morning we leave in time to travel back to Calais for the return ferry crossing arriving back in Chelmsford approx 8.00pm.
