Morning visit to Milestone Museum followed by return journey on the Mid Hants Railway.
Book NowMilestones Museum is located in Basingstoke. All indoors, it is made up of a network of streets that have been recreated as those found in Victorian to 1930s Hampshire. Walk cobbled streets, viewing the shop fronts of bygone craftsmen, visit a Victorian pub and see artefacts from local industry and commerce. A fully licensed café and Edwardian pub are available for lunches. Our day is completed with a return journey on the Mid Hants Railway - better known as The Watercress Line (it used to carry locally grown watercress to markets in London). Watch pastoral Hampshire countryside as you travel on this preserved steam railway.
