Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Morning departure from your local pick-up point then we drive west into Wales arriving in Llanelli late afternoon, making suitable comfort stops on route. Evening meal at the hotel.
Day 2 Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gower Peninsula and the Mumbles, an area renowned for its sandy beaches. Visit the Gower Heritage Centre in a converted watermill where a guide will join the coach for a tour of the Peninsula's highlights before returning to the mill for a guided visit. This afternoon we visit the Mumbles and have free time in Swansea.
Day 3 Excursion to the historic seaside resort of Tenby. Stroll the narrow-cobbled streets of Tenby itself or sit in one of the many cafes and people watch, or wander along the harbour, this attractive little place is sure to charm you. Return to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day 4 Today we explore Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales, with its popular Wednesday Market, medieval lanes, and Georgian buildings. This afternoon we enjoy a nostalgic heritage train journey on the Gwili Steam Railway that operates a preserved standard gauge railway line from the site of Abergwili Junction.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast we commence our return journey making suitable comfort stops on the way. Arriving back in Chelmsford about 7.30pm.
