Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 We leave the Chelmsford area early morning and head north, stopping on route for refreshments, crossing the Scottish Border late afternoon and arriving in Cumbernauld early evening.

Day 2 Later start after a hearty Scottish breakfast we make a late morning departure to drive into Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, where you spend the day at your leisure. Explore the famous "Royal Mile"; visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse situated at the end of the Royal Mile, walk up to Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park or shop at the famous Jenners Store. Your evening meal is not included today so you are free to choose one of the many restaurants in Edinburgh. In the evening we rejoin the coach and head up to the Castle where you take your reserved seats for the highlight of the tour, the performance of the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo, performed on the ramparts of the castle. After the show we re-board our coach for our return journey to Cumbernauld.

Day 3 Another later start as we make our way to Callander with free time here before we take a tour of the Trossachs. This National Park boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the world from the breath-taking mountains and glens of the Trossachs to the vast tranquil beauty of Loch Lomond, we travel via Loch Venacher and Brig o' Turk to Aberfoyle as we tour this spectacular location. Return to our hotel for evening meal.

Day 4 After an early breakfast we begin our journey home, heading back across the Scottish Borders into England, stopping on route for refreshments, and arriving back in the Chelmsford area mid-evening.
