A weekend break to Chatsworth House and the charming market town of Bakewell.

This special weekend break takes us to see the house all dressed up for the Christmas season. Decorated with foliage, lights and candles, as well as scenes to evoke the spirit of Christmas, the house is a superb Peak District gem.
Holiday includes: 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast, entrance to Chatsworth House, excursions as described, executive coach travel.
Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Departing from your local pick up point, we travel to South Yorkshire arriving in the afternoon at Meadow Hall Shopping Centre, time here before we continue to our hotel for the next 2 nights.
Day 2 This morning we make the short journey to Bakewell where we have time to look around the town and enjoy a coffee break, perhaps with a slice of Bakewell Tart from the Original Pudding Shop. We leave around midday for Chatsworth House, delightfully decorated for Christmas, where we have chance to obtain lunch before exploring the house, with opportunity to visit the shop which will be well stocked with seasonal gifts. You may wish to end the day with a well-deserved cuppa in the café before we return to the hotel.
Day 3 We depart after breakfast and head for Grantham and the Boundary Mill store for an extended stop before heading back to Chelmsford.
