Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 After our departure from your local pick up point, we travel north with suitable stops on route, lunch In Stamford, to our hotel in Harrogate for the next 4 nights.
Day 2 - 4 Experience Helmsley Walled Garden Exclusive Access
Unearth the positive effect of horticulture on well-being with an exclusive access guided tour, plus a special opportunity to meet and talk to the volunteers responsible for healing these tranquil gardens from dereliction. Encounter plant species indigenous to North Yorkshire, walls lined with stone fruit and apples - a homage to the gardens 18th century roots supplying the neighbouring Duncombe Park.

With rare Chippendale furniture, family portraits by Reynolds, Hoppner and Lawrence, renaissance paintings and the first contemporary art gallery opened in a country house. From the award winning terraces enjoy remarkable views of 'Capability Brown' landscapes. Wander 100 acres of garden with plants from all over the world, including the Lakeside Garden, the Himalayan Garden and the Walled garden. Day 5 Before heading home enjoy a short visit to Knaresborough. The River Nidd sweeps through this charming market town and you don't have to wander too far through the town to see evidence of a rich medieval heritage. Arrive back in Chelmsford early evening.
