Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Following your pick up, we make our way via Salisbury, where the magnificent cathedral has Britain's tallest spire, after time here we continue to the Hermitage Hotel, Bournemouth for 4 night's half board.

Day 2-4 Experience: Highcliffe Castle: Private Talk, Tea & Cake. Enter the home of Mr Selfridge, revered as "the most important surviving house of the romantic and picturesque style of architecture", and imagine the life of this 19th-century Grade I listed castle. Admire the skilfully reinvented interior, overcoming fires and ruin to be restored in a massive repair and conservation programme. From the Castle's prestige clifftop position, take in spectacular sea views stretching out to the Isle of Wight or wander down to the sandy beach and Steamer Point's unspoilt nature reserve.
Experience: Abbotsbury Swannery. Laying on the dramatic Dorset Coast, discover a unique 25 acres sanctuary chosen by over 600 swans as their home. Your tour guide will unveil the history of the sanctuary, from its establishment by Benedictine Monks in the 11th century to being used as a film location for Harry Potter, and reveal all about these regal creatures.
Experience: The Best of the Isle of Wight Tour. Our tour takes us past the majestic Carisbrooke Castle, an 11th-century towering fortress. We wind down the backbone of the island, taking in the rolling hills and quaint villages dotting the landscape. Stop in Old Shanklin for lunch (at guests' own cost), surrounded by charming thatched cottages and beautiful gardens. Gaze in wonder at Needles, a group of three distinctive stacks of chalk rising out of the sea, with the chance to spot local seabirds and seals.

Day 5 After breakfast we make our way into the New Forest where ponies and cattle still have the right of way as they freely graze the land. While here we make a stop in Lyndhurst before our journey back to Essex with a suitable stop on route arriving back in Chelmsford early evening.
