Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 After your local pick-ups we make our way north to Nantwich, Cheshire with suitable stops on route arriving late afternoon to check into our hotel for the next four nights, time to settle in before dinner.
Days 2 Today's excursion is to the historic city of Chester. Chester is a city in northwest England, founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D. It's known for its extensive Roman walls made of local red sandstone. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings, after time here we return to our hotel.
Day 3 You have a free day today to enjoy the hotel facilities. Alvaston Hall Hotel has undergone some fabulous changes, from new rooms to beautiful water features and landscaped gardens, plus they have opened the new Grove Cabaret Restaurant for you to enjoy delicious food and dazzling entertainment in. Other facilities include a 9-hole golf course, driving range, fitness studio, Jacuzzi, tropicarium and 20 metre indoor swimming pool.
Day 4 We include an excursion to Shrewsbury, renowned as one of England's most splendid heritage towns, offering lovely black and white timber buildings with picturesque cobbled alleyways and squares, making for a unique shopping experience.
Day 5 Following breakfast today we head home with a stop in Litchfield, after time here we make our way back to Chelmsford arriving early evening.
