Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 After your morning pick-ups we head north into Wales to our overnight hotel with suitable stops on-route. Time to settle in before your evening meal.

Day 2 Early start as we set off to Holyhead for our sailing to Ireland, breakfast on board the ferry, then head through the rich pastures of Kildare, home to the Irish National Stud, lyrical Limerick and Bunratty, home to Ireland's oldest Pub Durty Nelly's before arriving in Ennistymon for 4 nights stay.

Day 3 From the sheer drop of the Cliffs of Moher into the Atlantic to the stark moonscapes of the Burren, northern Co. Clare is a must for all visitors to this region. Call at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre for an introduction to the Burren, a large limestone cap stretching for miles. From here head for Doolin for lunch, known as the music capital of Ireland. This afternoon, travel via Listoonvarna, where the famous match making festival takes place in September. Follow the dramatic coastal route where on a clear day you can spot the Arran Islands, make your way around Black Head and Ballyvaughan Bay before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 Full day tour to Galway city, once a humble fishing village and now western Ireland's adopted capital. Enjoy the Buzzing Café culture in Eyre Square, visit the cathedral and museums or watch the salmon fishermen on Lough Corrib.

Day 5 Free Day. Enjoy a casual stroll into Ennistymon, a thriving market town with a bustling local economy. Numerous independent shops line the streets, each decorated in a way that stays true to the history of the town.
You'll find bookshops, bakers, butchers, hardware shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, each offering a warm welcome and fascinating product. You could also make use of the many hotel facilities. (8-minute taxi ride to Lahinch Beach).

Day 6 From Co. Clare it's not a long way to Tipperary and a visit to Cahir heritage town with its well-preserved castle built on a rocky island on the River Suir. Continue to Waterford for time in Ireland's oldest city before a final overnight close to Wexford.

Day 7 Ferry this morning from Rosslare to South Wales and then our journey home to Essex.
