Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Departing from your local pick-up points we travel south towards Dorset with a stop in Salisbury on the way. We then continue to Weymouth and our hotel arriving in time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2 A morning scenic drive around the Isle of Portland, viewing the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse, and Portland Castle before visiting Weymouth - With its fine Georgian seafront, 3 miles of golden sands and its pretty harbour, Weymouth is always a firm favourite.
Day 3 Today we travel to Dorchester, the county town of Dorset and the birthplace of author Thomas Hardy.
We'll continue to Bridport, a vibrant town with a fascinating antiques quarter, before following the coast along magnificent Chesil Beach and calling at Abbotsbury. This historic village sits in a secluded valley, sheltered by the Ridgeway Hills and there is a range of interesting and independent shops to be discovered.
Day 4 We travel through the attractive countryside of the Isle of Purbeck, stopping off in the historic riverside town of Wareham. We continue to the delightful old-fashioned resort of Swanage for our lunch break and time to explore before returning to our hotel
Day 5 We depart Weymouth after breakfast and make our way to Shaftsbury before the return drive to Chelmsford.
