Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 After our morning pick-ups we travel north with suitable stops on route, arriving at our hotel in Harrogate with time to settle in before our evening meal.

Day 2 - 4 Experience: Sledmere House and Gardens
Embark on a private guided tour of this cherished 18th-century home. Meander through the stunning gardens accompanied by the head gardener and meet charismatic animals at the esteemed Rare Breed Conservation Farm Park. Retire to the Courtyard Room for a delicious finger buffet and a warm cup of brew.

Harlow Carr stands as a lush masterpiece curated by the Royal Horticultural Society. Uncover diverse plant collections on your guided tour, from alpine splendour to tranquil woodland retreats, and delight in the kitchen garden.
Experience: Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Return Journey
From Keighley to Oxenhope through beautiful Brontë country to discover breathtaking world-famous landscapes. Step into history at the award-winning museum to discover the beginnings of the railway, once funded predominantly by local wealthy mill owners.
Experience: York Mansion House Tour & Cooking Demonstration
Behind the prominent green doors of the purpose-built home of the Lord Mayor lies fascinating facades, scandalous stories and cherished collections ready for your exploration! Dive in with a cooking demonstration to prepare and cook your own (digital) 18th-century meal following 300 years of tradition at the heart of York society.

Day 5 Before heading home enjoy a short visit to Knaresborough. (The River Nidd sweeps through this charming market town and you don't have to wander too far through the town to see evidence of a rich medieval heritage). Arrive back in Chelmsford early evening.
